Additional Information
With this innovative product, high quality stereo audio signals are provided absolutely synchronously for your show. It is a kind of radio-controlled CD player that does not lead to time errors (asynchrony) that are common to many playback devices.
The PFE Profi Audio works without any data compression and provides the sound quality of a CD. When using conventional data compression techniques like the well-known MP3, losses in sound quality occur which are recognizable by music enthusiasts. That is why MP3 is unsuitable for professional artists and technicians.
The music source is a WAV file. If you want to copy the tracks of a CD as a WAV file to your computer, there are a lot of specific programs available to do so. The software “Project Maker” is available free of charge in the download section on our website. This software converts the WAV file into a file playable by the device. Afterwards this file can be copied to the CompactFlash® card by using a card reader. Finally insert this card into the slot of the PFE Profi Audio.
The major advantage of the CompactFlash® card is that it is insensitive to shocks, dust, scratches, cold, heat and condensation.
To start playback simply program a channel, ideally channel 1, in the menu of the device. As soon as you start your automatic script at the controller, the device will start the music.
You also have the option to program a test channel for a sound check. To start the test you simply fire this channel. For additional safety you should always select a test channel that does not have any other actions associated with it. At the end of the sound check exit the firing mode and the device will stop.
