PFS Pocket – Wireless Transmitter for Pyrotechnics/SFX

The PFS Pocket is a small handheld transmitter, which is perfectly suitable for mobile applications, the SFX movie environment as well as fast production processes. Thanks to its compact size, it not only fits anywhere, it can also be operated with just one hand.

There are occasions when the large controller is not portable enough or you cannot access different firing channels quickly enough. With the PFS Pocket each firing channel has its own immediate access button.

With the PFS Pocket the number of firing cues is limited to 6. At first glance this may not seem much until you become aware of the possibilities: Each firing cue can be programmed on each or several devices. For example, a full step sequence can be performed over several G-Flames, while various PFE Advanced 10 Outputs Receivers trigger confetti shots and fires single shots. All this with a single button press.

The PFS Pocket is available in two versions either for Europe (CE) or the USA and Canada. The user can program the desired radio channel himself. Furthermore, the device can not only teach-in receivers, but can also be taught-in to a PFE Advanced Controller (different coding). This simplifies renting of other equipment as well as splitting system codes or providing a back up controller.

Despite its size, the PFS Pocket offers enough safety features to avoid unwanted firings. On one hand the firing mode must be activated, on the other hand the dead man function can be activated optionally. Then firing cues are only fired if the dead man key is pressed in conjunction with the channel button.
