International Fireworks Competition in Brno (Czech Republic) - 2009

In this year the company Flash Barrandov arranged the
fireworks competition Ignis Brunensis in Brno (Czech
Republic) for the 12th time. The event was between
May 22nd and June 7th 2009.

Three displays with a duration of approx. 15 minutes
have been fired not as part of the competition: Theatrum
Pyroboli fired the opening display 'Prelude', Flash
Barrandov fired the 'Intermezzo' and 'Grandfinale'.

The participating companies were Igual from Spain, Pyrovision from Austria and Grupo Luso from Portugal. They had to fire shows with a duration of 22 minutes.

The rules of the competition and the laws in the Czech
Republic determined among other things the firing site
and the firing system. The fireworks were installed on a
large pontoon with a size of approx. 1,200 m² in the middle
of the lake. The distance between the transmitter and the
pontoon was approx. 600 m. Every participant fired the
display with the Galaxis Firing System from Flash Barrandov.
Altogether two controllers PFC Advanced, two Audio receivers
and eleven receivers PFE Advanced with Matrix Module 100
Outputs have been used. One of the two Audio receivers was
being used for live broadcasting of the music via radio.
